Greenyear brand glucoamylase preparation is produced via submerged fermentation of Aspergillus niger and advanced extraction technique.

 

· Function and characteristics

Saccharifing enzyme, also known as glucoamylase, besides can hydrolyzeα-1,4 glycosidic bonds of starch from non-reducing end to produce glucose, and also can slowly hydrolyze α-1,6 glycosidic bonds. At the branch ofα-1,6 bonds, it slice off α-1.6 bonds first then slice off α-1.4 linkages. Therefore, it can successively slice glucose unit of amylose from the non-reducing end to produce glucose.

Definition of enzyme activity: The amount of enzyme in one gram enzyme powder or one milliliter enzyme solution required to hydrolyze soluble starch to produce 1 mg glucose per hour at the condition of 40 and pH4.6 is defined as one unit of enzyme activity.

 

· Application condition

Optimal pH range: 4.0 to 4.5; Effective pH range: 3.0 to 5.5

Optimal temperature range: 60 to 62; Effective temperature range: 40 to 65

The enzyme activity of this product increased with the increment of temperature. While when the temperature exceeds 65, the activity decreases quickly with the increase of temperature.

 

· Package and storage

1. Liquid saccharifying enzyme of this product is packed with 25 kg non-toxic plastic barrel. Solid products are packed with film bag (2 kg/bag) as inner wrapper and carton as outside wrapper, and net weight of each carton is 20 kg.

2. With the best efforts to avoid insolation and high temperature during the transportation and storage. Keep the environment clean and cool, and it is better to store at low temperature (environmental temperature below 25). When stored at 25 for six months or at 5 for one year, the enzyme activity is not less than 90% of the labeled value.

 

· Application scope

This product is extensively used in the production of distilled spirit, rice wine, alcohol and beer, and in fermentation of antibiotics, organic acid, amino acids and vitamins when glucose is used as fermentation medium. This product is also widely used in the production of various kinds of glucose. In a word, it can be applied in the industries which need the enzyme to hydrolyze the starch and/or dextrin.
